She is the heart and guiding light behind Beacon Academy. With over 20 years in education spanning preschool through higher-ed, she has served students across all abilities and disabilities in both public and private school settings. Jeanie is the bridge between meaningful educational experiences and real, lasting student success. Known for her tireless advocacy, deep personal connections with students and parents, and a heart that pours endlessly into teaching and tutoring, she is the lighthouse others look to for wisdom and direction on their educational journey.

Courtney Jackson

Co-Founder
Director of Development and Vision

She brings both the wisdom of an experienced school administrator and the heart of a mother who knows her children deserve more. She engineered Beacon Academy after realizing the other options weren’t serving her kids well. Courtney deeply understands that education is not one-size-fits-all, and she is passionate about creating learning environments where different approaches are honored and children are truly supported. Her leadership is grounded in real-life experience and an unwavering commitment to helping students master concepts in ways that actually work for them.

She is the relational backbone of Beacon Academy. As a homeschool parent and passionate advocate for students, families, and teachers, she understands firsthand that education is personal and that trust is everything when it comes to who shapes a child’s future. With true PTO energy and a heart for connection, Brittany serves as the liaison who keeps communication strong, relationships healthy, and the school community thriving so every child and teacher is supported, known, and set up for success.

Known as the crew’s boatswain, she keeps us on course, in check, and moving forward. Ms. Dawn meets students right where they are and makes learning feel safe, fun, and exciting. She is our behind-the-scenes operations pro. She brings structure, heart, and serious organization to everything she touches.
